got 10 minutes?

Sometimes that’s all the time I have. Sometimes a little more than ten minutes, other times even less, but I can usually find an extra ten minutes each day.

Which is why I’m so glad I discovered these 10 minute solution¬†workout videos–free, streamable–on Netflix!

It’s no secret around this blog that I’m an aspiring minimalist, that we believe less is more and try increasingly to work that philosophy into our lives. Lately that includes doing without a gym membership. Darren runs, and my favorite workout is going on a long walk with the kids (stopping at several parks along the way), but because we live in Oregon there are way too many rainy days where we are trapped indoors. One day in desperation I searched “yoga” on netflix and came across the 10 minute solution yoga workout. I was hooked.

Rest assured, often Natasha and Locke are climbing all over me while I do attempt these workouts. But I just grin and bear it and trust that any attempt at a workout is better than no workout at all. Right?!?

How do you work in workouts?

    I’m going to do a 10 minute workout right now! And yes, the gym is nice, but only if you don’t mind your kids contracting every communicable disease under the sun from the childcare… So actually, nevermind. It’s not that great : /
