Last weekend, we took our annual Christmas shopping trip to the mall. I checked in via Foursquare, and the mall then started following me on Twitter. I guess I’m kind of a big deal now!

The real reason I dragged Darren to the mall one week before Christmas we visited the mall last Saturday was because I had it on good authority that there was going to be a flash mob at 3:00PM. And there was. A large group of people stood in front of Santa’s house and sang the Hallelujah Chorus, triumphantly, amidst palpable irony.

I tried to sing along (I know the Alto part from high school concert choir! The Alto part never gets enough love) and I also tried to take a video, but I was too choked up the entire time to do much.

Hallelujah, for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth! The Kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
